Description

We manufacture type 304 stainless steel water tank cisterns. The sidewall and bottom are 20 gauge and the top is 22 gauge, all from domestic, US steel. We use stainless steel rivets in the construction process making them more durable. The tanks utilize a FDA approved NSF 61 certified sealant on the inside.

Each stainless steel tank is built to handle long-term use in both residential and commercial water storage applications, providing a reliable and sanitary way to collect and store rainwater.

Stainless steel tanks are actually an alloy โ€“ the addition of chromium to the steel greatly increases the corrosion resistance of the metal. Unlike a basic metal water container, a stainless water tank resists rust, staining, and pitting even in harsh environments. Stainless steel tanks will generally maintain the same look throughout their lifespan.

Benefits of Stainless Steel Over Other Materials

Beautiful, long-lasting stainless-steel tanks offer long-term advantages over plastic, concrete, or galvanized steel alternatives. While other materials can degrade or leach contaminants over time, stainless steel maintains its strength, purity, and appearance for decades.

Stainless steel tanks are renowned for their environmental durability. They wonโ€™t crack under temperature changes, warp from UV exposure, or corrode from constant moisture, making it ideal for rainwater collection and potable water storage.

Another huge advantage is hygiene. A stainless-steel water tank is non-porous, meaning bacteria and algae have nowhere to grow, keeping your water cleaner and safer for use. Stainless steel tanks resist stains and do not absorb odors, preserving taste and maintaining freshness.

Additionally, stainless steel is 100% recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly option for sustainable water systems. Whether youโ€™re storing drinking water, irrigation supply, or industrial reserves, a stainless water tank ensures long-term reliability and a clean supply with minimal upkeep.
